Hi, I'm Caroline
I learned silversmithing in my early twenties and began my career in New York’s Diamond District.
William worked security in the same building. Small talk turned into a love that shaped the rest of my life. We had just settled into life with our new baby when he passed away suddenly.

I found comfort in the handwritten notes he’d left behind. One day I engraved his words onto a simple silver cuff.
That small act of making became Scripted Jewelry, and it helped me begin to heal.

Scripted Jewelry was made between nap times, grief, and learning how to be a single mother. One silver cuff turned into a way to move forward — and into a way to help other people carry what they had lost.

He is in high school now. These days he mans the camera and pokes fun at my feable attempts at social media. Otherwise Scripted Jewelry is what it has always been: the smallest of small businesses, built on love and memory.
