Hi, I’m Caroline.
I learned silversmithing in my early twenties and began my career in New York’s Diamond District.
William worked security in the same building, and over time, what started as small talk turned into a love that shaped my future.
We had just settled into life with our new baby when William passed away suddenly.
In the quiet after, I found comfort in the handwritten notes he’d left behind — little pieces of love that felt like his voice on paper.
One day, I engraved his words onto a simple silver cuff.
That small act of making became Scripted Jewelry — and helped me begin to heal.
In 2011, Scripted Jewelry was built in the quiet hours between nap times, grief, and the chaos of learning how to be a single mother.
What started as one silver cuff became a way to move forward— turning loss into connection and helping others find comfort too.
The little boy who once napped beside my workbench is now a high school student helping run the business that grew up alongside him. These days, he mans the camera and does his best to make me look trendy on social media.
Scripted Jewelry remains what it’s always been — a small, heartfelt studio built on love and memory.
